ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY: Classes are hosted in partnership with Catholic Charities. Volunteers from other agencies (ex: Nashville Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, Meharry, etc) assist with teaching the classes. We typically host classes two to three times per year as schedules allow. There is no geographic limitation.
FEES: No
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We measure the effectiveness of the education provided through pre and post tests with class participants. Each class includes 2 – 3 simple yes/no questions about that class topic. Questions are answered individually before and after every class. This not a scientific evaluation, nor is it community based research, we are simply trying to gauge whether the education being provided is being understood by the audience.
