Community Food Advocates

Ensures that all Middle Tennesseans who are eligible for food stamps are receiving them. CFA provides free pre-screenings and application help, both in person and over the phone.

Metro Public Health TENNderCare

A full program of check ups and health services from birth to young adulthood for children who have TennCare.

Nashville Cares

An agency that assists those living with HIV/AIDS and their families.  Provides assistance finding permanent housing, applying for SSI/SSDI benefits, and financial assistance with bills for those with reduced income due to illness.

Tennessee Justice Center

Provides direct service to low-income families, advocating on their behalf to obtain essential health care, family assistance and food aid.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

WIC is a federally funded program that provides free nutritious food, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5.
